Terms of Service — YouTube Community Search

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) for YouTube Community Search. They govern your use of the YouTube Community Search browser extension (the “Extension”) on supported stores (including Chrome, Firefox, and Edge) and any paid Pro plan offered by LionHart Web Services. By installing the Extension or purchasing Pro, you agree to these Terms.

1. The product

YouTube Community Search is software that helps you import, store locally, search, and review YouTube Community posts associated with channels you manage. Free and Pro feature differences are described on the Pricing page and may change as the product evolves.

The Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. “YouTube” and related marks belong to their owners.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms, Mike Hart, doing business as LionHart Web Services, grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Extension for your own channel-management purposes. This is a license to use the software, not a sale. You do not acquire ownership of the Extension, its source code, binaries, or related files. Pro features require a valid, active subscription or trial and a successfully activated license key on that install.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Extension, its code, or related assets as your own product, or redistribute them commercially without written permission
• Copy the Extension’s code structure or script file layers except as needed for ordinary use of the official store listing
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension except where applicable law expressly allows it and you cannot waive that right
• Circumvent Free/Pro access controls or license checks
• Use the Extension for unlawful activity or to violate YouTube/Google policies

3. Intellectual property

YouTube Community Search (including source, binaries, and related files) is proprietary software. Copyright © Mike Hart. All rights reserved. Mike Hart owns the copyright in the Extension. It is licensed to you under these Terms; it is never sold. LionHart Web Services is the public brand for this product. These Terms replace any earlier open-source (including MIT) framing. We do not claim ownership of your community post content.

4. License keys and devices

After you purchase or start a trial, you receive a license key. Keep it confidential and activate it on the Extension’s Upgrade page. Activations may be limited (for example, a small number of browser installs). If you hit the limit, deactivate an old install from your billing/customer portal or contact support.

5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid Pro plans are subscriptions (monthly or yearly). Checkout opens in your browser through our payment processor. Payment details are entered on the checkout page, not inside the Extension.

If a free trial is offered, the length and what happens when it ends are shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription may convert to a paid plan and you will be charged.

You can cancel anytime from the receipt / customer portal linked in your purchase email. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund charges already made. Access to Pro usually continues until the end of the current paid period unless checkout says otherwise.

6. Refunds

If your first paid Pro charge isn’t right for you, email mike@lionhartweb.com within 7 days of that charge with your order receipt or checkout email and we’ll refund it. After that window, refunds are at our discretion (for example, clear billing errors or failure to deliver access after a valid purchase). Canceling a subscription stops future charges; it is separate from requesting a refund.

7. Your content and YouTube access

Post data you import is stored locally in your browser for normal use. You are responsible for having the right to access the YouTube Studio / channel data you import, and for complying with YouTube’s terms and applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your community post content.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Extension, including by:

• Attempting to disrupt checkout or license systems
• Sharing license keys publicly or with people outside your allowed activations
• Using the Extension in a way that harms other users or the service

9. Changes to the product or these Terms

We may update features, Free/Pro limits, pricing for new purchases, and these Terms. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, stop using Pro and cancel your subscription.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Extension is provided “as is” and “as available.” YouTube Studio layouts and interfaces can change without notice, which may temporarily affect sync. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect metric accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LionHart is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Extension or a Pro purchase is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
